  • Benefit Bucks. The easiest way to make a donation is to participate in the Benefit Bucks Program. Giant Eagle and Murray Avenue Kosher Gift Certificates! A percentage of each sale from these gift certificates will be donated to Congregation Beth Shalom.
  • Challah & Soup Sale. Join us every Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM in the Samuel & Minnie Hyman Ballroom for fresh challah, soups and other baked goodies. Order by Tuesday and pick-up on Thursday!! Effective January 1, 2005, prices are: Challah- $3.75; Soup: $3.75; Kichel: $6.00 per dozen
  • Sisterhood Cookbook "A Table Before Me" is here. Pick up your copy at the Shul office, the Judaic Shop or any of these fine stores: Barnes & Noble, Benkowitz Seafood, Borders Book Music & Cafe in Monroeville, CMU Bookstore, Jay's Book Stall, Murray Avenue Kosher, The Registry, St. Margaret's Hospital Gift Shop, Weisshouse.
  • Beth Shalom's Seudah Shlisheet third meal is held between mincha and ma'ariv each and every Shabbat. Would you like to sponsor the third meal in honor of or in memory of a loved one? Please call Ira Frank to arrange for your sponsorship.
  • Sisterhood Judaica Shop. Hours: Sunday - 9:00 a.m-12:00 Noon; Thurs. - 10:00 A.M - Noon; Friday - 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. For the month of September, the Judaica Shop is offering a 25% discount on Challah Boards, Shofars, and for your holioday table, beautiful tablecloths made in Israel.
  • Help us update our College Student Database. Keep in touch through the Congregation Beth Shalom College Connection. College students will receive: Mishpachtenu, Hanukah package, Purim treats, and more..

  • Help support the Giant Eagle Apples for Students Program!. The more Giant Eagle Advantage Cards we sign up, the greater the potential we have to earn much needed classroom resources for our Preschool. Three easy steps: 1.   • Pave the Way for a Mitzvah: Helping Home-Bound Congregants. Know a synagogue member who doesn't get to leave his/her home? Someone who would like a friendly visit from a congregant? If you have someone in mind, please contact D. Gilboa.
  • Support Israel by Planting Trees. Help us help Israel by purchasing trees through the Preschool. In honor of Tu B'Shevat, we would like to have the opportunity to add to our gardens in Israel which are named after our school, "The Beth Shalom Preschool Gardens." Through the JNF, as a group and with your help, we can purchase 100 trees at the cost of $5 per tree.
  • Sisterhood Flower Fund Campaign. Please contribute to the Flower Fund Campaign. This project provides floral decorations for the Bima on all religious holidays. The Flower Fund also provides floral bouquets to Sisterhood members in the hospital.
  • Sisterhood Torah Fund . Help our Sisterhood attain its goal of becoming a Founding Patron of the Women's League Educational Center with a contribution of $180 you will receive a beautiful pin "Migdal Oz: a Tower of Strength."
